HOLY CARP!!!
They called the builder and developer are supposed to meet Nate at the house at 1PM.

Nathan just found out that HAROLD MUXLOW is the developer!

Of course, Nathan's gone and drove away.

Of course, he's gonna move out.

Jesus! WTF?

That's got to be King's cousin, right?

Oh, lord - I just looked it up. It's either his cousin or his uncle. How much can a man take.

You'd better get Denise's dad over there with him. He needs some backup to keep from going berserk.

It's King's cousin who supplied the shovel, gascan and flashlight.

Nathan's not meeting with him and neither is Mark.

Nathan won't live in that house.

Nathan's..........

We don't know. He drove away.

He can't take anymore, I can tell you that. He was already on the brink this morning in the car.

I gotta go. I'm gonna be sick.

thank you, and keep praying.

What a sh1tty coincidence.

I agree it's best that no family member meet with Muxlow. Is there a neutral third party- a friend or colleague- that could act as interlocuter in this instance?

And if Muxlow had any sense he'd send the contractor over alone to take care of anything and everything.

This terrible news. I am so sorry for your family, Peg.

Was Muxlow the builder? Didn't King work in the building trades? Did he ever work for his cousin in this neighborhood, or even this house?

Peggy, praying for you all.

Yes of course, I see no need for the developer to be involved directly in a site assessment of this sort. It's up to the contractor to report back to Muxlow following the walk through.

It doesn't matter. Nathan refuses to go back to that house.

The rental company said it would cost $3000 to fix the problem. The owner called the developer (Muxlow) because the house is warrantied for 10 years. Muxlow didn't think it should cost $3000 and was going to see for himself.

He probably didn't know it was being rented to Nathan. He'd have no reason to. Just as Nathan wouldn't necessarily know who the developer was. We're in two different counties and towns. Muxlow is in North Port, the house is in Englewood.

Even the rental agent (who Mark works with on a professional basis) didn't know and has been treating Nathan with kid gloves. He was proud to be renting a house to Nathan.

It's just a sh!tty coincidence.

It's an awful coincidence. Nathan won't go back and he doesn't have to. The rental company and owner agree to let him out of the lease and totally understand. I would think they'd have not much of a choice.

Please, pray for Nathan and keep him in your good thoughts.

I'm glad it's a rental and he can move readily. Hope they didn't get much water damage to their stuff.

Again, if I was the builder I'd tell Nathan to send me the bill for the movers.

Oh my lord, Peggy! If this isn't one of those times your faith is tested, I don't know what would be.

Nathan once again had the right response - just get away from it, make distance.

if I may give some unsolicited advice - and I may be preaching to the choir - the best thing to do is forget about this, at least as much as possible. The guy is scum and isn't deserving of your anguish, so try not to give it to him.

My prayers and thoughts have never stopped being with all of you since this nightmare began.

What about damage to the furniture, clothes, etc... Does Nathan have renters insurance?

I continue to be totally amazed at what good instincts Nathan has in the midst of intense crisis. What a man, what a son, what a father. In the midst of all this trauma, I hope that you have moment to feel deep pride in your boy.

You have my constant prayers and faith that you will come through.
