I haven't been here for a while so I'm sure there are a lot of new people who I've never met, but I think I'm going to start spending a little bit of time here again. I miss it. Well, I'm not one to talk about myself much, but my name's Ben, I live in Texas, and I'm 17 years old. I'd be happy to answer any questions ![]() How have y'all been? Any earth-shattering news that I missed? |

Hi Sue! And hi to everyone else that has waved ![]() I will be a senior in high school this next year (class of '09)... so college applications and visits and decisions are the big thing in my life right now. I'm going to New York and Boston next week to visit some schools and then I'll be working on applications soon enough once school starts.

Hi Ben! There's lots of news. Aqua was crowned President of the International Online Haiku Association. Crashtest came out, and 89th proposed to three different women in the same day and they all cyber-slapped him. How are you? |

Hey Ben! Welcome back! What part of Texas are you from? I was born in Dallas, but left at a young age. Are you still playing the piano? If so, what are you working on? |
| In my defense, I was left unsupervised. | |

Random FML: Today, I was fired by my boss in front of my coworkers. It would have been nice if I could have left the building before they started celebrating. FML The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D | |

hi Ben, welcome back! |
| As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good? | |
