Meat Loaf
Green Beans W/Pork Hocks
New potatoes boiled
Cucumber, Onion, and Tomato salad
Green Onions
French Toast W/Honey

The meat Loaf was from the beef I raised butchered and processed myself

The green beans were fresh picked from my garden and the hocks were from a pig I raised butchered and smoked myself.

The potatoes were were dug yesterday morning from my garden

All the salad ingredients were fresh from my garden yesterday as were the green Onions.

The eggs for the French Toast were from my chickens and the honey was from my bees.

There was no better meal served anywhere in the world.

Sounds great. I stopped by one of my favorite farms yesterday and put in for a quarter beef in the fall.

Vince, he said he dug the potatoes himself. Distilling's not hard. ^_^

Not too sure about that olive though.

Don't they come with onions also? I have them but you would need a bigger glass.

Actually I would really like to learn to distill brandy. Maybe bourbon too.

Really doesn't get much better than that, lb.

I wouldn't have thought of the french toast (breakfast food for me), but maybe your hens are laying more eggs than you know what to do with. We used to have custard a lot when that happened.

Al,

Take a 1" thick slab of homemade bread and soak, don't just dip it, it in the egg mixture then fried is a real desert drizzeled with honey and a dash of powdered sugar.

Egg mixture...

6 eggs, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, a little milk, and 4 tblsp of warm honey.

Vince,

See, ONIONS are a close second to olives. I tried Vidalias once but it wasn't to my taste, but then I have a catagory for martini drinkers and I'm not in it.

Bourbon's not that hard. It ain't nothin' but regular corn squeezins that gets aged in white oak barrels that have been charred on the inside.

lb1 you are a lucky man.

I don't eat food even close to that quality. Supermarkets are my supply.
I want to build a small greenhouse to extend our short growing season and get a garden going.

It will have to wait until next year.
