Well, then I wouldn't quit unless you have something else lined up. Stick it out.

Crappy jobs have a lot of unforseen benefit. People are going to tell you that it builds character and helps you mature, but that's not exactly what's going on. If you stick it out with a job you absolutely despise, over time, you become jaded enough that the crappiness bothers you less.

Which is a very applicable personality trait in the real world.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

"jaded enough that the crappiness bothers you less" == "character & maturity"

Like I said, I've done more than my fair share of crappy jobs. I'm jaded. I'm the essence of jade.
Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh, and to be able to grow.

Aww... There's no price that could be put on something as beautiful as that.

Then there's Tom Waits:

I'd sell your heart to the junkman baby
For a buck, for a buck
If you're looking for someone to pull you out of that ditch
You're out of luck, you're out of luck

Ship is sinking
The ship is sinking
The ship is sinking

There's a leak, there's a leak in the boiler room
The poor, the lame, the blind
Who are the ones that we kept in charge?
Killers, thieves and lawyers

God's away, God's away
God's away on business, business
God's away, God's away
God's away on business, business

Digging up the dead with a shovel and a pick
It's a job, it's a job
Bloody moon rising with a plague and a flood
Join the mob, join the mob
It's all over, it's all over
It's all over

There's a leak, there's a leak in the boiler room
The poor, the lame, the blind
Who are the ones that we kept in charge?
Killers, thieves and lawyers

God's away, God's away
God's away on business, business
God's away, God's away on business, business

Godddamn there's always such a big temptation
To be good, to be good
There's always free cheddar in a mousetrap, baby
It's a deal, it's a deal

God's away, God's away
God's away on business, business
God's away, God's away
God's away on business, business

I narrow my eyes like a coin slot baby
Let her ring, let her ring

God's away, God's away
God's away on business, business
God's away, God's away
God's away on business, business

Yes but not jaded enough to stick it out and cap your gripes at muttered discontentment!

(Not saying that's a bad thing, either. ^_^ )

 I don't think I should. If tomorrow is anything like today was I probably will, but I shouldn't. I made muffins and I'm going for dinner with my brother tomorrow night so things aren't looking so bleak anymore.

Pfffft.

Mine would be a thousand times better. 89th lacks cookie-making experience.

Suck it up and stay put. Heck, you're only talking about till the end of September, with a break between now & then. You can do that standing on one foot. Hang in there; you're tougher than that!

But after September, quit & find something that you don't hate. As Frank said, life's way to short...

If it makes you feel less sad, just realize that they've probably been ridiculing you behind your back ever since you left.

I made muffins. They're quite stogdy but I added lots of chocolate. Tis no patisserie though.
