HOLY CARP!!!
My old computer died so I broke my rule of never buying anything ever, and got a new one. This computer is so powerful that this post probably broke right through your monitor and hit you right in the face. Sorry about that.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

What did you get?

My new iMac should be delivered today.

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

To my great shame at work, I got a Dell. I love it when you tell someone what you just bought and then they tell you how stupid you are for having bought it.

Anyway it's a good computer, no hassle, runs fine, pretty cheap. Windows Vista, pentium dual core 2.4 ghz processor, 4 gigs RAM (only sees 3.25 though). It's smaller and quieter and silverier than my old computer. I kept my old 20" LCD monitor which was great when I bought it and is still great today. It's nice that monitors have reached that point that you don't have to replace them.

Nice, Horace. Sounds like a fine machine. There's not a thing wrong with Dells. I've got four of them, running XP Pro, and haven't had a single problem out of any of them, and the newest one is at least 4 years old.
