Great choices, Plays! :thumb: :thumb:

I've always had the deepest admiration for the Newmans, and their ability to stay together all this time.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

LMAO!! Everyone pretty well expects Keith Richards to look bad, though. I heard that he actually died in 1983, so they took him to a taxidermist and Mick Jagger took ventriloquist lessons.

I'd give my right, er, arm to look like Tom Sellick - or Paul Newman.

Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh, and to be able to grow.

HOLY CARP!!!
Selleck looks amazing for a 63-year old. He's hardly aged at all.
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

Sarah, all very good, except it is really killing me that Kristin Scott Thomas falls in the "aging" category for you. She's a bit younger than me.

I can feel the decrepitude crawling all over me

Deb, to be honest after the first two I was just posting my favourite actresses! Cate Blanchette and Gwyneth Paltrow nearly made it too. I included in my list those I thought womanliness, which is a major part of being natural, for me. Sorry

This doesn't count as an ageing picture. It's just for me Frank.

You know what's so nice about Cate Blanchette? She carries an air of elegance, which is a quality that has long been extinct in Hollywood actresses. If you look at actresses from the forties and fifties, those ladies radiated an easy elegance and grace. That's what I see in Cate Blanchette... It's timeless and very very appealing.

Yes. These woman are womanly. There are many actresses I would kick out of bed because they're not very feminine. But these... :excited:

Back to aging gracefully...

This is my 85 year old mother last weekend at Amy's graduation. I think she looks amazing. She's the one who, at this age, doesn't require ANY vision correction, mows her own lawn after knee replacement surgery, and lives by herself in the house I grew up in. She is totally maintenance free too...she doesn't wear makeup, and she's always cut her own hair. She's NEVER been to a "beauty parlor"

Whoa... Deb, she's amazing! So young.. It's all in the mind. Wrinkles come from the inside, or something to that effect. I don't know. She looks fantastic.
