baked spaghetti and a green salad

I'm having some difficulty with a lot of meats lately -- they are getting stuck and I wind up throwing it up. It's just easier with soft stuff.

A couple of NY Strips, salad, and potatoes.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Sigh. Liam requested sandwiches :P Fine, cause I don't have to really cook and I actually had some yummy meats in the fridge. But I'm jealous of everyone else!

If it's any consolation, those steaks turned into sandwiches too. Running late for the movies.

Jon, you cooking?

Sirloin, Jack's homefried potatoes (skin on), steamed fiddleheads topped with pepper and butter. Sauteed portabella.

Mondavi Cabernet to celebrate his life and note his passing.

Green tea and dark chocolate with dried raspberries for dessert.

Jack that sounds awesome. You pick the fiddleheads wild?

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Jon's delectable sounding Watermelon-Chevre-Lime Salad
Broccoli or maybe some bread.

Vino - A Kali hart Chardonnay for Janet, probably a little of that and a Sauvignon Blanc for moi.

HOLY CARP!!!
RIBS!

RIBS RIBS RIBS RIBS!!!

(Oh, and spinach salad and cherry/pineapple pie)
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

Unagi-don. Basically, a big bowl of rice with freshwater eel filleted over the top.

With sauce.

And a salad with ginger salad dressing.

And a glass of water.

Cool, man. Let me know how it turns out.

I wimped out and just made sliced watermelon and steamed broccoli with the salmon. It was late and all I had was feta cheese, no fresh limes.

I gotta go to the grocery.
