It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Give me any major dinner and I can tell you who was there, what we ate, what wines we had including vintages and how they were in great detail. For years back now.

Haven't the foggiest idea what I need to do today.

HOLY CARP!!!
I saw a report on tv at my hotel last weekend about one of the other people (a woman) who has this. She also has kept a journal for her entire adult life - something like 10,000 pages of tiny cramped script. The interviewer randomly turned to pages, and asked her "What happened on July 13th, 1983". The woman would say, "It was a Tuesday. I over blowdried my hair." And she's be spot on. On a few occasions when she was off, she was exactly 7 days off.

She said it's a blessing and a curse - because there are some things that we NEED to forget, and she just can't.

The show was really interesting.

Mik, I can do the same. I can remember what everyone ate for meals which were eaten years ago, what everyone ordered at restaurants... I'm not so good with wines, unless they have a very unusual name. I might remember the cepage but not so much the date. However, I put some eggs on to boil about half an hour ago, and I just went into the kitchen and was surprised to find something cooking... Looking forward to rubber for dinner. So it's not your age that's stealing your memory, unless I'm just prematurely old.
Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh, and to be able to grow.
