After unknowingly eating an atomic matzah that was accidentally baked in a microwave oven with radioactive water, she was surprised to learn that she could fly, could turn invisible and had microwave vision and Hyperstrength. And best of all, NOTHING could hurt her . . . except being under water for more than 18 minutes!

Why 18 minutes under water?
Is that standard procedure for breaking down matzah in a pot?

Oh, is she (or any other character in the JHC) a virgin still?
(Same question for those DC Comics characters, if any one knows.)

Every Hebrew letter has a numerical value. So sometimes numbers are spelled with Arabic numerals, and sometimes with Hebrew letters.

The two letters that "spell" the number 18, also spell the Hebrew word "Chai", which means "Life" (as in, "l'Chaim!" "To life!") So from a spiritual perspective, the number 18 is traditionally associated with life, and is thus traditionally a sort of "lucky" number, kind of like the number 7 in Western culture (which is why Jews often make monetary donations (or gifts) in multiples of $18 -- i.e. the donation should be made in the name of Life).

Dude, this is really nifty.

Shostakovich's musical name is DSCH, right? i.e. D-Eb-C-B. Put that into a traditional Jewish scale, called "ahava rabbah", with a G tonic, i.e. G Ab B C D Eb F G. That would mean that, in terms of intervals above the tonic, D is 5, Eb is 6, C is 4, and B is 3. Add them up.

No wonder he liked Jewish music so much. :nerd:
