HOLY CARP!!!

First, I have to preface this by saying Vista sucks! (It sucks at network file access, stupendously slow, that's why I'm sync'ing across a network drive instead of copying to local drive and then sync.) So I have like 3 Gig of pictures sitting on a network drive and I'm sync'ing to an iPod touch using iTunes running on Vista... it took like 30 minutes to sync 5 pictures (each is about 800kB in size), but at least it was success at sync'ing. So to sync that whole 3 Gig library, I left the system running to sync overnight and it hung (networking drive becoming inaccessible). I tried again and after hours, it gave me a completely unhelpful message that says the sync process failed. Any idea what the problem might be? |
