If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Nice ride. Accords are bulletproof.

My favorite car that I ever had was my 1989 Honda Prelude. It was a tad underpowered (it was 1989, after all) but boy could it drive nicely. It was, as Mik say, bulletproof. No issues, ever - until daughter #1 smashed it up - three times.

You used to drive an Audi, right Daniel? How does the Accord compare to the Audi? Being the first time owner (since college) of a German car, I find it very different from the Japanese cars.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Let's think about this...

America declared war to Germany. America declared war to Japan. Americans prefer German cars. Americans praise Japanese cars. American despise "made in America with pride" cars.

Well.....

Actually, my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee is pretty trouble free after 108K miles.

My father's Peugeot 404 was trouble free until 175,000km. He brought, from France, parts for the overhaul of the engine. At about 200,000km, the car was stolen. Parts donated. Bought another Peugeot - a big big one. It was with me long after his death and while I already had my Peugeot.

Weren't the French at war with America ? (knowing the reciprocal hatred between the two noble nations)

175,000 km is about 105,000 miles. Not bad for a French rust heap car! At least it didn't have that funny rear end like the Citroen (the name of which always makes me think of lemons).

War between the French and the US? Only in spirit. :lol2:
