my inspiration; 8 months to marathon...

my first real test next week, im doing a 10k run after 10 weeks of training.

although not running for time, i would like to get in under 1:00 to 1:15.

lost 4 kgs (9 lbs) since i started jan 1!!!!

need to drop another 5 kgs to be at a good weight for the run in november.

If you need further inspiration, there is another source. DPRK woman marathoners recently won first place and second place in the Asia marathon championship.

When asked what was the secret of their successes by reporters at the end of the race, the girls replied:
February 16 is the birthday of Kim Jong Il. So we ran along the whole course, picturing him to ourselves, with the single desire to bring him joy on this significant February holiday. :)
