HOLY CARP!!!
Noah made his first visit to the emergency room today. And got to ride in an ambulance. He's okay. He sprayed Oxi-clean (sp?) in his eyes while playing in the laundry room. Poor Nathan was in a panic. Noah was screaming. They called me. I called Mark to go over immediately because I was at a doctors appointment Oodly enough at the hospital. And suggested he drive them to the hospital but they opted to call 911.

Long story short, as soon as Noah saw the ambulance he stopped screaming. And was all excited. They took him to ER anyway just as a precaution. So he realized his dream of riding in an ambulance.

Watching everyone one, you would have thought Noah was of royal stock the way everyone treating him.

I'm exhausted.

I'm sure Charlotte County was extra careful on how they handled this call.

Anyway, we're finally home. Time for a glass of wine.

and how was your day?

Glad I didn't go

There may be any number of hearings without his presence before the trial. You need not concern yourselves with them.

So Noah's ok?

A question....how can the accused not show up at his or her arraignment unless they were incapacitated? Do they have choice in the US?

Yes. Their attorney can represent them. That is frequently what happens.

When Jacob broke his finger last month, the people at the E.R. gave him stickers, and a Spider-Man action figure when he left... When he followed up with the hand doctor the next day, they gave him a stuffed bear. (after re-doing his dressing)

For the next several days he tried 'accidentally' ripping off the bandage...

I am glad he is OK - I know it can be a big scare when stuff like that happens!

Wow. Glad he's ok. We made several trips to the ER when my son was little. Scared the carp out of me every time!

Interesting. I'm pretty sure that unless they are incapcitated, we still haul them before the judge in shackles for the plea.

Do you guys still get to haul them through the city in a charette?
