My mom is always RAVING about Jersey tomatoes.

Anytime I go home she tries to send me back to MD with Jersey tomatoes.

I always just thought it was local pride, but I guess they really are special after all. ^_^

It doesn't matter how good they are! I know many of us would be deeply offended! I know it's silly............

but it'd be like someone from Jersey or worse Delaware or Virginia, telling me how to make crabcakes!

I've actually never had a crabcake, and most likely never will. I made up my mind a long time ago that I don't like seafood, and now that it's been over 10 years since I've eaten any kind of animal there's no turning back. ^_^

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
'Jersey Tomatoes - It's the SLUDGE!'

I had a friend in VA who was from there and always raved about Jersey grown. I stone guarantee you they are not any better than Ohio or Indiana grown.
