Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Cheers
My sister just got a job with these guys (the teaching co). She starts next week.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Too cool.

The Teaching Company is a Jewel. I've been buying their courses for more than 10 years now (back on cassettes!). My favorites are, of course, the music courses and some of the science/physics courses. I remember listening to "Einstein's Relativity" in the car and being amazed that I could understand what the prof was saying, with no visuals. A testament to the ability of the teacher.

At times, though, I wish Greenberg would go a bit into detail more than he does. His latest course, "Understanding the Fundementals of Music" left me a bit wanting, though the last lectures on rhythm and harmony were great (the lecture on rhythm is all about "Blue Rondo ala Turk" - Brubeck!).

Greenberg is an amazing lecturer. He made a year's commute to Chicago weekly a pleasure. 'How to L:isten to and Understand Great Music' is a wonderful survey of Western music.

Thanks George - I think I've found something else to spend money on. :veryangry:

Seriously though, this looks like just the kind of thing I need to take my mind off pain when I'm on the exercise bike.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?
