HOLY CARP!!!
An interesting woman. Really lovely, somewhat mistreated by her husband.

I used my F3 and a Nikkor 105/f2D, and two umbrellas.

Lovely... She has incredibly beautiful skin and eyes. :)

By "mistreated," I hope you don't mean, "hit." Few things piss me off as bad as hearing about men beating on their wives or girlfriends. I may play fast and loose with a lot of the rules of life, but one point of honor, is that I have never, will never, hit a woman. I've been hit lots of times... The best a man can do in those situations though, is to either subdue the woman, (grabbing her wrists, or wrapping her up in your arms), or just walking away. There's just no way to win, but if you HIT a woman, you are the automatic loser, long long after the fight and/or the relationship have ended.

She's lovely. But, I don't like the tattoo either. (What Mark would call a "tramp stamp"). And she really should do something about her armpits.

Lovely complexion. I hope she takes care of it. :P

Mark had to explain it to me  We were following a motorcycle one day where the girl behind the guy had one. It was funny because as they were riding along she kept trying to pull her skimpy top down over it. Now I wondered...... why the skimpy top, and why the tat if you're going to try and hide it while on the back of a bike?

:lol2: Maybe she got it done when she was drunk?

I'm thinking that first, there was Lasix. Then there was bleaching your teeth with UV treatments. The next big wave, in about 10-15 years, will be tattoo removal. Everywhere I look lately, I see the most horrid tattoos. Especially the "interesting characters" that get them on their necks. The other big thing, is going to be earlobe reconstruction. These people putting gauges in their earlobes, until they open way up like donut holes... I'm afraid I just don't understand the point of that... It's hideous. It's not "hardcore" or "cool." It just looks nasty and ugly.

Well, we just watched a movie with one in it, and I just mentioned that I didn't like the tramp stamp. That's all. Luckily he got it.

I liked those, Tom, for what it's worth.
Some real personality comes across there.

When you're good, you're really good. (See, I can be nice!)

I really like this; the messy armpits, the beautiful woman and her beautiful things. It works. Actually, I like all her shots. An interesting woman.

If I were looking for a career change and wanted to make a lot of money, I'd go into tat removal. It's going to be huge.

Yea, I have a G2. It makes a good prop.

Thank you, sue. I have my "snapshots" and then I try to do some interesting formal things, too. Stuff like this is a lot of work for both me and the model.

FYI the girl in the pic is a real first class trailer trash woman. I really tried to class her up, as she is trying to do herself in her life--but the roughness still shows. That's what I think, makes her so interesting. I tried to takes pictures of her as she wants to be and not how she really is.

No need to be concerned.

I photographed mostly rocks and trees. I think I might find shooting your models too...um...distracting?

What's she supposed to do? Have electrolysis? It's kind of sad the impossible perfection we've been so programmed to expect in women. One of the things I like about Tom's photos is that he doesn't air brush out the flaws. Most of the women are quite attractive but with flaws - that makes them much more interesting, IMO than the airbrushed fluff that floods the media.

As to the tattoo, though, I agree - big turn off. That said, I read recently that something like 30% of women in the 20-40 (or something like that) age bracket have them.

I must admit (FYI: I hold a Certificate in Photography from Middlesex Community College! :thumb: ) that the "profound plaster" school was something I was just never good at. I really learned photography--not as an end in itself, but as a tool to get to know people, women actually, (men are pretty BORING). Women are infinite in their moods and attitudes and likes and dislikes. You can photograph a woman a million times and never get two pictures the same. And for that matter--if you plan and scheme to get a certain picture from them--with a flick of an eyebrow they can defeat everything you had planned.

Jack, if you ever are disposed to throw a hint or suggestion how I might do things better my way--I'm always interested.

I only photograph women with flaws. I never take pics of anything close to professional. I don't work for Clarol or Lauder. I think a good artist can phograph a young girl portray her exactly as she is, a better artist can take a picture of an older woman and show her still lovely and beautiful. But what I try to do is take a picture of the older woman and show the lovely young girl still living inside a flawed body.

Here's the beauty of it all. I actually believe what I said. Really, truly deeply. And then when I SAY things like and REALLY mean them, women swarm around me and drop their clothes in piles.

I think I have the soul of a really good photographer--
I just lack the talent.

Is that the soul of a photographer, or the soul of a pornographer?

Interesting point. Really women do what women do to get their point across. Lot's take off their clothes to show who they are. Lot's more than anyone would think. For reasons I can't imagine.

Women are al lot more earthy than men in lots of ways. Of course, they are a lot more spiritual, too.

Each and every woman is quite fascinating.
