It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

ZOOOOOM!
Last year about this time, he was visiting a bookstore in Annapolis (this was right before he announced his running for president). He was talking up his coffee table book, and other stuff in general. I thought what the hell, I'm in the area, I'll drop by.

He was a good 50 minutes late. I would have left but I got caught up reading a book.

Real decent guy, though, from what I saw. People asked him all kinds of questions, some of them downright nasty. He was very honest with them all.

I'd definitely vote for the guy, were it not for oh, just about everything his campaign's about. Minor details. ^_^

His book's pretty cool, by the way:

I cite irreconcilable differences.

HOLY CARP!!!
Tardiness is a fault for which I have little patience. To me, it says *my time is more valuable than yours*. I can't help but wonder if this is the message that JE is trying to send. His excuses for his tardiness sure fall in the *yea..right* category.

When someone does this over and over again, it says something about their character. I try to be on-time for everything. Showing up early and waiting a bit is preferable to being late to me.

Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments
and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism.

We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.

My guess is that tardiness in a politician like this is more a symptom of a guy who gives his time to too many people and can't say no. I bet he's always running late because he won't refuse anyone that wants to talk and because he won't cut them off but hears them out.

However, nope, I would not vote for him on that basis.
