HOLY CARP!!!
Klaus, since you are the only person that I know that speaks German, I need your help. I wan't to buy a CD (from Oleg Yugan, an oboe player) for my mother-in-law. She saw him playing in Le Metro in Paris. She bought one CD from him but would like to get more. I googled him and the only reference I found was here. I can't tell if I can buy it from here or not. Can you give me any advise? Ever heard of this guy?

The site you linked to is just a database of music albums, where users can comment on the albums. The database mentions two different albums of the guy. There is no possibility to download or order, though.

I also sampled a few German and French online shops, but with no result.

There are only three links Google gives for "Oleg Yugan" - two into this database, and one into a German PDF document which says that Oleg used to play in a symphony orchestra in Ukraine.

I'd say there are two possibilities:

1) The CDs are only sold by the guy himself, i.e., all self-marketing, or
2) There is an alternative spelling for his name - as far as I know the transcription from Ukrainian names is often ambiguous.

Thanks for your help, Klaus! I was hoping that googling in Europe would somehow produce more hits. I am surprised that this guy - who probably moves around to fairs and public places hawking the CD's out of his oboe case - doesn't have a website of his own. "Oleg Yugan" is how he spells his name on the CD case. Seems in the US every independent musician has a website to sell their stuff.

Anyway, thanks again!
