HOLY CARP!!!
How do you think the new National Treasure movie compared to the first one?

I saw it with my parents on Saturday night, and we enjoyed it, though we all agreed it was much less intriguing than the first. The bad guy seemed to know everything already, whereas in the first movie they had to discover all of the clues in order. Also, the ending was pretty much the same as the first movie, except for the fate of the bad guy. I loved the humor between the two parents, though. :lol2:

Hey PJ, first of all you can always check my WEBSITE!!! but anyway I really enjoyed the first one. As far as fun-filled, family-decent, semi-unrealistic, modern day thrilling adventures go...it was a fantastic movie. I go to the movies to be entertained...sometimes by drama, sometimes by sci-fi, and sometimes by popcorn-thrilling fun action and the first one succeeded on all levels.

This time around I also was thoroughly entertained. It was a bit too similar to the first as well as a few more unrealistic events (in order to get various clues), but still...I'm not going to this movie to be intellectually stimulated, but to have a great time and I did.

The bottom line is if you liked the first, you will like this one. And the opposite is true if you didn't like the first one, your probably not going to like it this time around.

Also, in the second film, you were right about the two parents and their humor, the well-timed Riley-humor, etc....just an all around good time at the movies and definitely worth the ticket price.

Plus those production sets (think back to some of those "inside-the-cave" scenes)....really great!!!

Yup, I already checked your website.

Noticed that you gave the new one a B+ and the first an A.

Yes - I guess that would have been a bit more concise. :P

Did you catch what was on page 47 (or whatever the number was) of the secret book? The page that the president wanted Cage to look at? I missed it... maybe that was the point!

You might want to add "Spoilers" to the subject of this thread...even though what I'm about to say doesn't give anything away.

I didn't catch what was on it...but I'm 99% certain that's because they are setting up for a 3rd movie, which I've heard has already been given the go-ahead by Disney to create. I'm looking forward to it. Shoot...I almost want to watch this latest movie again!
