Sitting in my sunny dining room, drinking organic coffee, listening to music and talking and laughing with my wife and daughter... The sunlight through the French doors is so bright and clear! Sometimes, there are rare moments when life is just so perfect. For the first time in a long time, I just feel at rest and peace... :)

i'm playing for at least a couple hours at the Christmas eve BIG mass.

It will be a zoo with a 45 minute prelude, lots of surprises and an endless list of pieces with different orchestrations, directions and opportunities to screw up.

Sounds like my mom's day.

The 4:00 mass is designated the "Children's Mass," and "zoo" is really the best way to describe it. You don't go to that mass if you don't have children. My mom organizes a children's choir, and also there are kids playing piano before, during, and in-between masses. She had my dad drive her over to church at 2:00, just so she could calm her nerves before the troops start arriving. ^_^

I couldn't find the sloppy joes.

Well - we went, and we had a grand time and it was truly exquisite, as it should be. But we shoulda found the sloppy joes too. The 'special seasonal menu' surprise was they were serving the dinner menu - at dinner prices. There's a reason I go to these kinds of restaurants for lunch. Well - there was anyway.

It was beyond good, but DANG!!!! My wallet is still smoking. :hair:

Merry Christmas everyone!

We're going to my brother's tonight for a turkey dinner. I'm bringing a few bottles of Ensure for my meal.
Tomorrow we're hosting our moms with a roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner. We'll unwrap the presents, and IT will play some Christmas music on the Estonia. Fun times.

All the shopping is done. :thumb:
