Pretty neat - but very pricey at 30K for a likely slow 2 seater.

That's for the hybrid. WHat I like about it is that it's actually pretty low tech (and therefore hopefully low care). It's got a real trunk, has pep, typical of electric motors. Top speed, granted is "only" 90 mph, so it won't do on the autobahns.

Oh, wait, do they have autobahns in Denmark as well?

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

I don't think I'd want to do 90mph in that thing - looks pretty flimsy.

Hrmmm.... I'm thinking that would be little more than a speedbump in my Jeep.

Yes, they have, but they have a 130km/h (~80mph) speed limit :weeping: :weeping: :weeping:

Aptera has two innovative models that are almost production-ready at $30,000 and below: for next year, the all-electric, 120-mile-range Typ-1 e that we drove; and, by 2009, the range-extended series gasoline Typ-1 h, which Aptera says will hit 300 mpg.
The dogma lives loudly within me.

I've done 80mph in the slow lane on the PA turnpike. I swear i've had 18-wheelers passing me. :hair:

Only time we slow down is if someone sees a cop, then we're all the best drivers. (and yes, I can just hear Dustin Hoffman in "Rainman": I'm an excellent driver.") :D
