Congratulations on your secret wedding! How exciting! Have fun moving in tomorrow.

R2 - no, you didn't miss something. She was indeed "only" my girlfriend until 8 weeks ago. I just didn't say anything about my "secret" marriage on TNCR yet :ph43r: But it was not such a big deal after being together for 14 years already

I was wondering the same thing. Glad you made an honest woman out of her. Mazel Tov! :thumb:

Good luck on the move, Klaus. I know how hard it can be to move to another country, with a baby coming. You're a brave man!

Here are a few photos from our new home. It still needs a lot of work. We have not yet put up our pictures and paintings on the walls, hence they are somewhat naked.

Piano room:

Kitchen and eating place. What a difference to our micro kitchen we had before!

Another quite useful separate room we did not have before:

We have a pond! Obviously it needs some work. I have no idea what to do with it, though, and I hope our goldfish won't die

Our living room is gorgeous but not yet quite ready for public photos

Bingo question: Where is the man with the blue shirt and his dog hiding in the second picture?

Klaus, is that living area one large space? I mean, the cooking, dining and Piano living area?

Yes, it is one large area. We intend to add a sliding door to separate the piano room through.

We have a living room in the 1st floor (perhaps slightly unusual), so there is no need to call the piano room living room  My desk is also in the piano room (not visible in the picture).

Get it done before the baby arrives or it'll never happen

Good luck with everything, it looks like fun.

What exactly is so "Euro-stylish" about it? I am seriously interested. How are American homes different?
