Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

:) It was no fair; his mutt sucker-punched mine!

My wife and I adopted spanky as Newlyweds, and at twelve and a half,
our poor guy is just starting to show signs of age. I don't know
what our kids are going to do when we have to say goodbye.

Sweet looking dog. Looks a lot like Skippy, my dog growing up.

What kind of dog is he? He's beautiful!

when we picked him up at the shelter, they told us he was a "terrier mix".

We found out later that meant Pit Bull Terrier mix.
We were worried about what the hell we got ourselves into,
but he's been nothing but sweet and gentle all his life.

I don't have a real good digital picture of my dog (lucky), but his sire is this one, and he looks just like lucky.

Note, he doesn't have the same cut, I wouldn't be able to walk down the street in NYC if he did. As it is, when I walk him cars stop and get out to see him. Last night I was walking him at 11:00, and a car of sorority girls from Virginia visiting NY stopped, and oohed oohed at him. (Where was he 20 years ago??)
Random FML: Today, I was fired by my boss in front of my coworkers. It would have been nice if I could have left the building before they started celebrating. FML

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D
