Recently, especially since I got my hair cut and the book/movie came out, I have been compared to Daniel Radcliffe/Harry Potter by several different people. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I was also compared to Beaker, from the Muppet Movies. I'm pretty sure that's a bad thing.

HOLY CARP!!!

I always go with the last option, when it's lengthy and witty. As long as people are noticing, it's all good. I think others will demand a picture, though. They're right to do so. |

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead

Post a picture and let us judge. Do not make it naked in front of a horse. |

But if I posted a photo, then you would know the Truth. And nothing but. And you might end up very ignorant as a result. |

Most important question: does your girlfriend like it? |
|
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool. I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss! - Cecil Lewis

By that do you mean that it was random chance that tossed her about in the whimsical seas of life until she was cast upon my sandy shores? Or do you mean that I'm an ok guy and she should be happy to get me? Because you would be wrong! Should Beauty incarnate deign to even glance in my direction? Should someone so good stoop to my level, sully herself in my muck, damn herself by association ? Is someone who saves a drowning man lucky to have found him? *sigh |

Love elevates lover and beloved. There is no "worthy" or "unworthy," nor levels, nor anything but mutual devotion and committment.

Love is more thicker than forget More thinner than recall More seldom than a wave is wet More frequent than to fail It is most mad and moonly And less it shall unbe Than all the sea which only Is deeper than the sea Love is less always than to win Less never than alive Less bigger than the least begin Less littler than forgive It is more sane and sunly And more it cannot die Than all the sky which only Is higher than the sky -e.e. cummings- |

Well. . . I always feel like I'm talking about it too much, because it's all I think about, and so I rarely mention it at all. Edit: R2, at least you didn't post e.e. cummings poem about taking the car out for a first ride . .

Let me not to the marriage of true minds Admit impediments. Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove: O no! it is an ever-fixed mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken; It is the star to every wandering bark, Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken. Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks Within his bending sickle's compass come: Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, But bears it out even to the edge of doom. If this be error and upon me proved, I never writ, nor no man ever loved. - Shakespeare |

Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects. It always trusts. It always hopes. It always preserves. -- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 |

Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism. We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.
