http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=07...&show_article=1 "Natural weather variations have offset the effects of global warming for the past couple of years and will continue to keep temperatures flat through 2008, a study released Thursday said." You mean...... WE AREN'T GONNA DIE??????????? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!! Way to go, Algore! Oh - but it's gonna heat up again later on.. they're predicting it might even get hotter than it did in..... 1998..... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!! Modern liberalism is a mental disorder. Now watch the black helicopter stories fly.......

Wrong again, Larry. From your article:
Seems that because of a bug, 1998 was NOT the warmest year to date. http://www.dailytech.com/Blogger+finds+Y2K...article8383.htm NASA has now silently released corrected numbers and the changes are truly astounding. The warmest year on record is now 1934. In fact, 5 of the 10 warmest years on record now all occur before World War II. Now, granted, these are only US data, and I don't know what the worldwide data are. However, the fact that Hansen's (remember him?) data are questionable sorta throws a wet towel onto to the whole "the science is settled" argument, I would say. |

I see that the ever topical Mr. K. has seized on another piece of wisdom from The Great and Powerful D'Oh. Personally, I find it a bit depressing that America has relegated climatology to a party political game. Nobody's really interested in trying to figure out what is actually going on, as long as the other side looks stupid. From this perspective, both sides look pretty stupid. |

Yep, the one and same whose (?)James Hanson claims he was "muzzled" by the Bush government for speaking out. I guess there's credibility where you want to find it, in case you were just wondering.
