I swear it's even affected my concentration - I can't get my fingers coordinated enough to practice!
And how are you today?

we went to the Titanic Museum in Branson yesterday...there was an iceberg to touch, and a thing of 28 degree cold water to put your hand in and see how long you could stand to keep it there.

I actually have a "professional" maragarita machine at the bar by the pool.

You really must visit, Rosemary.

I was going to suggest we need a whole pitcher of those to share, so we could all sit around and cool off. If Tom's offering his pool, so much the better.

106F in TN, today. We're frickin' DYIN'!!! Tomorrow's forecasted to be 108!

At 9 O'clock last night, it was still 88F!

Pass the margaritas! :tiki: :weeping:

Don't think I could handle that kind of heat. It went up to about 68F (20C) here today when the sun came out, but the humidity is just killin' me.

I guess slurping back margaritas in the library would be a no-no, eh?

So much for George's prescious solitude.

No need to comment - the weather out here never changes. Think it's summer - better check a calendar!

You know our TV weatherman have to come up with other stuff to talk about - hard to repeat "78 degrees with an onshore flow" every night.

100F in Tennessee. According to Accuweather, "real feel" temperature is 108F. I'd still rather it be 108F than 60F, though.

We need rain so so so badly. It just keeps missing us and we are like 4-6 inches below normal in rainfall so far this year. Our grass looks a lot like straw. Praying for storms!

HOLY CARP!!!
It rained last night and the grass grew about 3 inches. I had to mow in this horrific heat to keep my husband from doing it when he gets home. I'm concerned that he shouldn't, his BP's been kind of high, yard work in the heat is how my father checked out of this world, I am trying to keep David from following in his footsteps. Men!

Has it stopped raining?

My dad told me there was 10 inches of rain in one day about a month ago.
And how are you today?
