I need some hooks. You know what a "hook" is, right? Give me some hooks. I don't care if some are funny, go ahead and put up any hook you can come up with. Thanks. |

In terms of lyrics, Cole Porter was the master of the hook. What sort of themes are you working on? |

When I lived in Berkeley I knew Nin's brother, Joaquin Nin-Culmell, a very gifted and kindly old man. He died 3 years ago at 96. He had a wonderful reputation in his own right as a concert pianist, musicologist and professor, not just as the brother of the woman who humped Paris. |

|
"The woman who humped Paris" oughta have the beginnings of a good hook. In fact, it might make a great song. |
|
"Any man who would make an X rated movie should be forced to take his daughter to see it". - John Wayne There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it". Henry II: I marvel at you after all these years. Still like a democratic drawbridge: going down for everybody. Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore. From The Lion in Winter. | |
