HOLY CARP!!! Posts: 10,737 Group: Members Member #8 Joined: April 18, 2005	Ok, HP fans, this is it! Just under a week to go! Last chance to make those predictions. I propose we each make ten predictions, and whoever gets the most predictions right, wins. Maybe we can even come up with some small prize or something, ok? Oh, and the predictions can't be anything like "I predict the book will be longer than 10 pages" etc... LD's top ten predictions: 1) McGonagall is evil. 2) One of the Weasley twins die. 3) RAB is Regulus Black 4) Harry will not return to Hogwarts for school, but will return towards the end to find the last horcrux/final confrontation with Voldemort. 5) Snape, of course, is not evil, and either a) didn't kill Dumbledore or b) killed Dumbledore as per DD's wishes to maintain his cover with the big V. Ooops, gotta go, I'll post my last ten later.

Posts: 12,443 Group: Members Member #65 Joined: April 19, 2005	LD! you're stealing all my predictions! 1) Harry will not die. 2) Snape is good, but we won't know it until the very end of the book. He will possibly die to save Harry. 3) Snape killed Dumbledore, but it was D'dore's wish that he do so. 4) One of the twins will die. Or it could be Charlie. But one of the Weasleys, and my top guess is Fred or George. 5) There will be a mushy happy ending with Ginny and Harry. 6) Greyback will attack at Bill and Pleghm's wedding. 7) D'dore will not come back, though he will talk to Harry through his portrait. 8) Neville with kill Bellatrix LeStrange. (Alternate possibility is she kills him, but one will die at the hand of the other). 9) RAB is Sirius' brother Regalus (sp?), who isn't really dead, just in hiding. 10) Kreacher has a horcrux, or is the only one who knows where one is hiding.

Not just for his lycanthropy, not because of the wedding, but because of what he does for a living. 8) Aunt Petunia is a witch. 9) Ron will be offered the headboy spot but will turn it down. 10) I hate to say it, but if Harry lives, then Ron or Hermione will bite it.

WRONG (though Mrs. Weasley was AWESOME!) 9) RAB is Sirius' brother Regalus (sp?), who isn't really dead, just in hiding. WRONG - though RAB is Regalus. Half credit? 10) Kreacher has a horcrux, or is the only one who knows where one is hiding. CORRECT!! I didn't do bad. most of my guesses were at least on the right track. I should have been less specific!

They're splitting it in half so hopefully they add more details and better than the last one. I wasn't happy the way they ended it with Dumbledore's death. I mean it was okay, they might start this movie with Ron's brother's wedding with that foreign girl (I forgot her name), but I just expected more from it, I guess. This series is one of my favorites of all HP books so I'm really looking forward to it.
