Smoked sausage and noodles with cheese and roasted garlic tortellini.

I love a man that still says noodles, not pasta. ^_^
I had a similar dinner, with, uh, garlic sausage of a name that has been tossed around alot this evening.
Are we Canadians all that predictable on a Friday night? :ph43r:

You rock Sue :)

Tonight it was mousaka & souvlaki (beef & chicken). Yum!

Always lots of barbecuing over the May long weekend.

You can always tell a homemade vs. store bought burger!

The one in your original picture is clearly homemade. You can tell by the fact it is not perfectly round as if it has been made by a machine.

Always lots of barbecuing over the May long weekend.

And tonight, barbecued whole chicken.

Having steak tonight. The question is whether to grill, or pan sear. What do you guys think? Any recipes for a good steak rub?
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Grill, obviously.

When in doubt, grill. :sombrero:

Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

Oh gawwwwwd.... I'm STUFFED!!! I had a rack of baby back ribs that were so big, they were hanging off of my plate, "loaded" mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese, sauteed peppers, onions, and mushrooms, chips and salsa, a margarita in a mug the size of a beer stein, two Cokes, and a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, nuts, and chocolate sauce. I ate ALL of it. :excited:  (and gawd DAMN, it was GOOD!!) :thumb:

I love asparagus, Red Rice. Especially the wonderfully aromatic "aspara-piss." BONUS!!

I love asparagus, Red Rice.

I grill or broil it, then drizzle goma-ae sauce on it. It's awesome.

Speaking of baby-back ribs, the local grocery store had a sale on them, so I bought a few racks... gonna smoke 'em in my new kettle grill for a Memorial Day BBQ. I can't wait!

OK. It was Tri tip from Traders. Along with a nice Cabernet and Ella in Berlin. I danced with my youngest, and my oldest played some tunes on the piano. All in all, a fun night.

Hope yours was as fun.

Good night to all!
