So a hybrid just converts the kinetic energy of a ton of moving metal into electricity instead of wasting it by turning it into heat in the brake pads like regular cars.

It is that simple.

I've read industry analysts that say virtually every mass produced car in the world will be a hybrid by around 2012.


In my defense, I was left unsupervised.
