I got Newport Blue, since the gray was a more expensive model, but I got some cool wheels and sold the stockers to help pay for them.

I guess I made my announcement in the wrong forum (where nobody seemed to notice the car).

I love the car. First time I've had a moonroof and the AWD really makes it hug the road. Not fast, but very nimble.

Kincaid, thanks for remembering!

Congratulations -- nice color! That AWD will come in handy next winter too (unless global warming proves true).

Sweet car - I couldn't stand not having a moonroof now that I've had one. :thumb:

One of the great things about living in Maine is that even with global warming as bad as Al Gore thinks it will be, we will have at least 4 or 5 more years with snow.

Congrats! They're great cars. I had a 2000 Legacy. My mother has a one and my brother just bought a used one a few weeks ago. :)

I've never heard it called a 'moonroof' before.

I mean, it's not for letting in moonlight.

Nice car, Jack!

You must be a liberal! Look at all that pot! :D

Look at all of kathy's pots. Hmmmmmm....

I still keep my same schoolboy crush on your wife, Jack. (In a nice, polite way, of course.) Lovely car and all of that.

It's just so artistic. (kathy's pots, that is.) Sigh.

Oh, don't worry, you'll see it used for that as you get older. ;)

Haha jk...I think a moonroof is power-operated and a sunroof is manually-operated (hand crank). Or so I've heard..

Hm. Maybe.

I don't think I've ever seen a hand crank [sun/moon]roof. I guess I'm not old enough.

I always thought of it as the moonroof having glass and the sunroof not.

If I had Mucklucks, I would definitely hold onto them.

Kenny says he's refreezing the glaciers so you might want to put that beach gear on ebay. He might even be trying to get cheap beach gear.

Did you trade in the Honda or sell it yourself?

The 1999 Accord with 186k miles and NEVER been serviced other than a timing belt at 90k and recent brakes in the front goes to....

SON number one, who graduates from college next week, has a wonderful girlfriend, is making his way in the freelance film industry in NYC, and who needed a car.

Kenny, I think you met him. He is the one who does not play the piano, but who an hour ago got his graduation gift from me, which was a 1973 Guild D-40M. He was pretty happy about that.

Tom, you are such a sexist pig....

Kathyk takes care of installing the storm windows, stacks and splits the wood, and renovates the third floor closet into a bathroom.

I take care of the gardens.

Those are MY pots 100%, and I am still taking recommendations about what to plant. So far i am commited to basil, rosemary, cleome (dwarf sparklers), star zinnia, coleus, morning glory, another viney thing with orange flowers i grew last year and can't recall the name of, and so on.

And to think Larry keeps calling me pussy whipped! What is HIS problem????

By the way, it is a cool car if you ever get over your thing for oversized gas chugging slushy American cars, this little baby is a load of fun to drive.

You could use some of them pots to plant pot.

If I had any use for pot I might.

Every year when I plant my favorite annual--Cleome--I am struck how much it looks like pot and how, if I cared to and could figure out how to get a few seeds, I could mix in a few pot plants.

Very similar--at least until the Cleome flowers.

No, no, if you want to grow legal plants to hide pot in, you've got to plant a field of kenaf.
