HOLY CARP!!!
My technician sent this to me:

For those who might be interested, Christopher Taylor from the UW--Madison is going to be performing Bach's Goldberg Variations on the Steinway double manual piano at Ravinia on Thursday, September 6, 2007.

Although there are very few other double manual pianos, this piano is the only Steinway concert grand with two manuals and it is owned by the UW. Kit Taylor is a fantastic pianist, who, I'm sure you will enjoy.

I heard him perform the goldbergs on that piano about 3 years ago at the UW, it was great!
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

I Owe It All To John D'Oh
Doesn't Bach's sig have a quote from Woody Allen about the Goldberg variations?

I didn't get a manual with mine.

Me neither. And I still haven't been able to find the on/off switch.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Me neither. And I still haven't been able to find the on/off switch.

I'm still trying to figure out how to turn on the note checker. A manual would help.
