I saw Jon Kimura Parker last night; the women in the ladies' room loved him

HOLY CARP!!!
The reviews of Mr. Kimura Parker's performance are good, but don't match the excitment of the women in the very long line for the restroom at Heinz Hall last night. One of the women had been to the Thursday performance and had to see him again, so came again on Saturday night. They all just LOVED the show (first half of the evening).

I had a few of the man's hands and must say his talent was impressive. I liked both his Rachmaninoff and his encore variation on the music of the Wizard of Oz.

Anyone ever seen him before?

No, I've never seen him live, but lots of times on tv. He's done a lot of tv and radio here, so is certainly well known.
My son's piano teacher learned with him (they had the same teacher), as a young student. They participated in a lot of competitions, and as Elaine says, there was always Jon, and then the rest of the pack. Apparently a really nice guy.
