Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Surely you must agree that had Al Gore been elected, it would have been 36,000 by now, right?

Or about 2 pounds and 50 pence in real money.

Bush's master financial stroke has been to make the US dollar worth so little that there are now almost twice as many millionaires as there were only 12 months ago.

Already here. I skied Mammoth over spring break and it was full of British people (plus some other European nationalities). They said it was cheaper than skiing Europe, and the snow was better. Then I went to Vegas for a conference - that also seems to be full of British people (punters would be the British term for those in Vegas I believe).

$2 to the UK pound....not surprising.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those that understand binary and................

I thought it was how many people you've put to sleep over the years.

I mean with your gas, not your wit.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean Your gas, I meant your stuff you inject into people.

Actually, when you stop to think about it, it's probably pretty an underestimate. Probably closer to about 18,000.

'bout 5 years ago, I had a lady on the table and I was about to put her to sleep. I had been referring to her as "Mrs. Thompson" since our first meeting about an hour ago. As I was about to inject the induction agent into the IV, I said, "Say goodnight, Gracie," not realizing that her first name was, indeed Grace.

She looked up at me, and said "Goodnight George," not realizing.....

We all got a good laugh.

I'm a great believer that a bit of well-placed humor is a good idea in stressful situations. When I put EKG electrodes on my patients, I tell them, "I'm going to hook you up to an EKG machine. I have these sticky pads I'll put on your shoulders and chest. They're cold, sticky and gooey, just like my first wife."

(One time, a lady looked up at me and said, "I'm sure she speaks highly of you as well." :lol2:)

Then I tell them that I've had my second wife for 30 years... :hearts:
