Last week I was working in the garage, and something fell and struck me on the back of the head. This, to be precise:
Posted Image

It made a small but bloody cut. Now that it's healed, I've noticed I have a dent in the back of my skull. It's an oval about 1/2" long, and about 1/4" deep at the deepest. No headache, dizziness, etc. I can attirbute to it.

I'm seeing a doc tomorrow.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead

Hope all is ok.

One serious symptom would be wasting a lot of time on Internet boards. :P

Finally
Did it knock some sense into ya?

(just kidding, OT)

Seriously, it's good that you're seeing a doc. Make sure that loved ones keep an eye on you for a while as well (couple of weeks) in case something more insidious isn't going on.

Keep us posted.

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

OT,

And you didn't see Larry in the garage behind you with that thing in his hand. Maybe you better see an eye doctor, too.

George, thank you for the affirmation. I was afraid I might be making too much of it.

Tom, now that you mention it, there was a shadow behind me just befoer it happened. :D

I saw the doc this morning.

Doctor: "You were a liberal before this happened, so that's no excuse."

"Also, tell that hysterical anesthesiologist friend of yours the cure is to change his politics." :sombrero:

Seriously, he didn't think the injury was too severe, and from the size of the trauma, any subdural hematoma should give me lots of subtle advance warning.

I think I'm gonna make this guy my PCP. Even though he's less than half my age, he referred to me as a "healthy young man".

:woot:

Thank you all for the kind words and snark.

:D
