HOLY CARP!!!
My young and humble opinion might not mean much but i know you are coming over here soon so i have some advice you might like to consider.

The pound/dollar is at it's highest it has been since 1992. This morning, the pound finally peaked at 2 dollars exchange for the first time in 15 years.

That's good for Brits going to America, but when you go to get your dollars converted into Sterling for your trip, you'll be getting an ultra crappy rate and not many pounds for your dollars at all.

However, i was just watching the news and the Chancellor said that inflation is soon to drop and within the next couple of weeks, the rate will deflate.

So, if it's not urgent, leave getting your dollars changed into sterling as late as you possibly can - you'll be getting much better value for your money than if you were to do it now.

Wait, you guys don't use American dollars like us? What is WRONG with you? :D

Thanks for the tip - I saw the 2:1 news this morning. Granted, I'll be in Ireland for the first 10 days, although the euro isn't much better right now. I'll do what I can, but thanks for the advice about waiting as long as possible to get my $$ changed.

We do too use them. They're soft, strong, and very absorbent. Cheap, too.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?
