Well?
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

I'm getting a large refund, but most of it they just keep for my first quartely tax estimate. Dammit. Better than I thought, though!

PS: I had asked about tax software a while back. I settled on TaxAct, for the reason that it gives you dat aon whether or not you would be better to file joiontly or separately. last yeat it was separate, this year joint. I really liked the product, and it is about half the cost of the others.

We're getting ours done very late this year, as I was waiting for some info from when I left my former company and made some changes to my retirement plans. Finally got everything (I hope). If not, we'll be filing an extension.

Laptop keyboard. I type fast, and if I don't go back and recheck there are always errors. Always. :D

Taxes were no sweat, even though very complicated this year with some estate capital losses, etc.

I am so adjective that I verb nouns!
Actually "YES - filed for extension" I always finish them, pay up any remainder, and then file for extension to get my return out of the first group that is the basis for general audits. The odds of random audit diminish exponentially if you file for an extension.
The dogma lives loudly within me.
