I Owe It All To John D'Oh
|
When the most dignified man at an execution is the mass murderer, you know things could have gone smoother. |
| It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010. | |

HOLY CARP!!!

I think Jon Stewart is misreading dignity where in reality there was only the lack of a soul. I still haven't lost a single moment of sleep over Saddam's execution. Frankly, given the atrocities he committed, I'm amazed by the amount of fairness and respect he actually received. Just imagine, one of the most brutal people in modern history had to suffer verbal taunting at his execution after being convicted of mass murder. Had the Iraqis executed him by having him drawn and quartered, I'd still have ended up sleeping like a newborn.

I don't think he actually meant the comment to be taken seriously. |
