All these issues we talk about, war and peace, MP3 players vs. compact discs... Do you think it makes a difference or do we just like to talk? TNCR seems to me like a bunch of die hards. The party's over but you aren't going home. I like that about you. That's why I'm here. Curious to know what you think. |

Almost every issue we talk about or post we make has little to no real world effect, you're right. Most of us are just talking to express out thoughts, to debate. However, it's the occasional odd fact we learn, or angle of a debate we didn't think about before, or the rare but most important meeting of TNCR members in person that brings the real value to this place. I think also the combination of the accessibility with anonymity that makes this place unique. |

Actually that's a lot of it for me. I've learned a lot about how people think about various issues I wouldn't have known otherwise. I've learned a lot from researching subjects that have been raised too. |
