My work laptop has plain black wallpaper. My home PC has plain turqoise (after Mrs. D'Oh girlyfied it from plain black). What can I say, I have no soul? I'm a clean freak when it comes to computers. |

This is what I would use if I knew how to do it. It's always been a dull gray with a bunch of icons scattered over it. I know, pathetic.

Frank, that picture is about an hour's drive east of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The tiny little village that you see in the valley is called Nueva Esperanza. The picture was taken from the grounds of Montana de Luz, the orphanage for kids with HIV/AIDS that I'm sort of affiliated with. Plays, open that picture on your computer screen. Right-click on it, and I'll bet a menu opens up, and one option will be "Set as Desktop Wallpaper" or similar. Just click it, and you're done. And Frank beat me to it; that looks beautiful. It reminded me of Bermuda, one of my favorite places ont he planet. But I've got you beat - I'm headed back to my "Desktop Paradise" in just over a month.

A proprietary alloy that is 95% platinum. I think a few companies have been making tension settings for a couple decades. I think they'd be out of business if the stones fell out. You DO need to go to one of these guys though. Neissin (German) Steven Kretchmer Gelin Abaci Boone Rings (titanium only) I have read if you have your corner jeweler make you one the stone may fall out. That happened to a friend of mine. They claim it is safer than prongs. Prongs grab less than 5% of the stone and since they are so small are easy to pull back when they catch on things, usually pulling clothing over them. More of the stone, over 20%, is held by the these tension setting and it is much harder to pull open. These 3 pics are my platinum setting. Later I'll post Jose's titanium setting. ![]() Sorry, dust on the stone. ![]()

I love Bermuda!! CT, those are four of the most beautiful children I've ever seen. Nice job, Dewey! ![]() Have a great time, Plays! I'm headed to Cozumel in April, for a week of diving, drinking, and other debauchery, and prior to that, I'm off to Vortex Spring in Ponce de Leon, Florida, to do my certification/check-out dives for Rescue Diver, Dry Suit, Underwater Lift-Bag Operations, and Search & Recovery specialty classes that I've taken. ![]() Life is good.......

![]() The painting is called "The Spirit of War" By Franklin Cropsey. One day, back in the summer, I had nothing to do so I went into D.C. for the afternoon. I saw some poster saying they had new paintings in the American art museum, so I went in to check them out. This was one of the paintings I saw. The one right next to it by the same artist, called The Spirit of Peace, was also very good.

Those twins look like hellraisers! At one time I had a 4 year old, 3 year old, 1 year old and a newborn. The Pampers company declared a dividend every time I walked into Toys 'r' us. You have my sympathies. |

hp1 since you asked about the metal, here is Jose's titanium tension setting. Looks just a little lighter than platinum and is much less expensive and I think it is stronger than that alloy of platinum. ![]()
