No, not OUR George. George Washington. THis site: http://www.wheresgeorge.com/ allows people to enter and track the location of individual bills. I received a $1 in Indiana over xmas that had 'wheresgeorge.com' written on it and the serial number circled. I purposely brought it back to NY with me, then entered in the system, and spent the bill. Its set up to email me if anyone else enters info about it. Go to the 'Top Ten' bills - its interesting to see their path, and the comments. How fast it changes from 'this is a new bill' to 'this bill is in really bad shape'. |
