For you 17th century British history buffs...; have you read C. V. Wedgwood?

I'm thinking specifically of The King's Peace and The King's War.

I got both of them for Christmas (along with The Trial of Charles I).

Anyone read them? Comments?

HOLY CARP!!!
I haven't, though they were recommended to me by a prof I really respected back in university. I just never got to them (I know, I know...I guess there's a reason I never went beyond contemplating that post-grad history degree, huh?)

Let me know how they are!

I figured I'd get a taker or two, just want to make sure our British friends have seen this thread.

Dol - so far so good, its written in a very engaging style. The first 100pp or so are just describing what England and English society was like at the time. Fascinating.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.
