HOLY CARP!!!

This subject was brought up in another thread so I figured I would try to make a poll. Me? Outskirts of Small City. Country Feel with convenience of population for various "ways of life" considerations. Having access to larger cities for cultural events is also a "big plus" where I live. I could not live in a city setting though. I like my space! |

I currently live on the outskirts of a medium city on the outskirts of a big city, and am perfectly content. I work in the big city and go to school in the big city, but get to come home to a much less hectic environment. I could maybe see myself living IN the city for a stretch of time. Once I'm older and settle down, though, I'd eventually like to retreat to a bit more rural of an area. |

HOLY CARP!!!

I live in the country but pretty close to a big city. I would prefer to actually live IN the city. I would love to have a penthouse apartment in the centre of London (hey, one can always dream, right? ).x |

I voted "suburbs of a medium city". I highly enjoy the suburban way of life. IMO, it has the advantages of city aspects as well as rural aspects. Usually is well planned with convenient recreation centers, pools, shopping centers, and athletic fields...as well as preserved wildlife. I would, however, choose to move farther away from the city than closer to it if I had to choose. |

In a biography about Elton, the author called Elton and Bernie the town mouse (Elton) and the country mouse (Bernie). Elton is from the outskirts of London in Hertsfordshire. Bernie is from a farming community in Lincolnshire. |

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead

I like either the real country or the heart of a major city, so I did not vote. |
