I bought it from a large store which get wine in bulk and have noticed fromsome price hunting online, that the prices are actually drastically lower in this place. Bargain. ![]() I love French Red. x |

I don't like French reds at all and I was bought a load of that particular one you've got by the company I worked for at the time and couldn't stand it though the people I gave it to as Christmas presents really liked it - so (eventually getting to my point), I'm sure it's a very good choice ![]() Unfortunately I'm no wine "expert" apparently, much preferring Italian fruity reds to the more dry French reds and even then only with pizza Pizza... |

The only problem with French reds bought in England is i get a stonking headache the next morning. The preservatives and added chemicals put in when it is sent abroad really mess with my head. Which is such a shame because when i am actuallu in France, i have absolutely no problems of headaches or hangovers, no matter how much i drink. x |

That's interesting. Aside from the prices, I'd stopped drinking French wines for that reason, many years ago. I avoided them because of the heavy hand with preservatives, but had wondered if things had changed. Very interesting to hear they just do that for export products.....so you're telling me it's safe to drink French wines in France? I'd sure hate to go there and not be able to. But headaches suck.
