NEVER say 'no' when asked to sing!

It'll be great! Take low breaths, relax, sing. Easy as pie.

Oh no... the exhibitionist in me would never pass up the opportunity to get up on stage in frnt of a crowd. :D  ^_^

The problem is, the whole song is focused on notes right around where my break so i find it very hard to sing. :veryangry:

That's an awesome attitude, I wish all musicians had it! Some pro pianists or singers feel imposed upon if asked to make some music in an informal setting.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

I know what you mean Horace, I know people like that, but mostly I don't know people like that. Musicians are artists and love to make music. Most would rather be doing that than nearly anything else (heh for "nearly" )

I am not advocating expecting professionals to perform without compensation, by the way, but most of us will offer up a bit in a casual setting or for a good cause. The only exception for me would be real illness or other incapacity...If my only option is to sing poorly, I won't sing.
