HOLY CARP!!!
Just popping in to say 'hi' while the power is still on here....it's been flickering, and lots of neighbouring areas are without, so am anticipating another fireside, piano, guitar, board game kind of afternoon. ^_^

We've got about 16 cm of snow already (it's noon here) and it's still coming down. It's so beautiful! What a magical day.The road hasn't been plowed, and kids are sledding on the street. We don't get snow regularly here, and I'm going outside to enjoy. :hat:

Anybody else got snow?

Very nice pics Sue.

Got to say I am glad we don't have snow yet. Getting 4 of us into the car by 7:30am each day is hard enough on a warm day, when we have to do the defrosting/shovelling/snowsuits dance it's no fun at all.

Enjoy your snow day!
Pfft.

Yikes. So you would probably be amused by our -4 'major snow storm' local news reports here.

Not really because I have been out there when even a bit of snow wrecks havoc on the streets and sub zero temperatures result in major property damage.

For us it is an inconvenient reality of winter, for the Pacific coast it is a near catastrophe.

Right now in Portland we are getting flakes as big as quarters and it is sticking. It is supposed to be short lived.
