After this election I foresee a wave of femininity sweeping across the country, all the men will become more womanly,

Clearly!!!

Ivory even bought a hybrid!

I hinted the day before -- the election had nothing to do with it.

And it's MS's car really -- I got the ballsy 4WD Xterra. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

It's OK, IT. The gas avings can be used to buy more Ammo! :thumb:
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Maybe we conservatives are cut from sterner cloth...

In some cases, yes. In some cases, no. In some, cases certifiable. In your case, it looks like sour grapes, but enjoy the illusions.

Some people went off last time to make their own forum away form the OCR? So what? It's a free country.

Quirt's right, btw, the Dems won - not the liberals. They - the Dems - must be made of pretty stern stuff becasue they came back this time, and won big.

Analyzed the election results, yet?

You do realize you have almost 40 blue dogs in the House, now, correct?

So did they win because they were Democrats, or did they win because they morphed into anti-war Republicans?

As for the sour grapes comment...as I've told you before, you are welcome to your opinion. Please note two things - I was the first person on this board to congratulate the Dems upon their win. I'm also the first person to tell them I'll do whatever I can to take it away from them.

Honesty is not sour grapes.

I Owe It All To John D'Oh
I don't think they morphed into anti-war Republicans, but they are far more middle-of-the-road. (Although, in Webb's case, given his conversion from Republican, you may be right.)

Pelosi isn't going to be able to keep her coalition together if she tries to cater to the farther left part of the party. And I think that's a good thing. She's a pragmatist, and she'll have to govern from the center. Probably best for the country.
It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.
