I listened to it recently. It's definitely actionable, what with the "clean your room" thing.
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

I read that one, kluurs. What I took from it is that how we ascribe meaning to time and how we evaluate timing can be weird, but itís easier and more productive to run with it, even though it often seems arbitrary.

Good read, though.

 Yep, got a couple of Dostoevskyís under my belt already. A good friend of mine loves Jung, so heís always been on the back burner. Also, I think Freud had shortcomings and cognitive behavior psych is a crock of ****, so why not give Jung a whirl?

I've never read any Jung, and have only read one of Freud's books. (Civilization and its Discontents).

But I find Peterson's discussion of archetypal stories to be fascinating.

Like everything else Peterson, itís nothing new; itís just straightup, old-school literary Structuralism. Proppís ďMorphology of the Folk TaleĒ and Levi-Straussís work features the exact same concept, but Petersonís analyses are far more complete, with more meaningful conclusions.

Every lit major in the West should read his stuff. Then again, Iím into Structuralism so Iím biased.

Dussander went through the archway and into the kitchen. A fluorescent bar buzzed into life. 'I live now on stock dividends,' his voice came back. 'Stocks I picked up after the war under yet another name. Through a bank in the State of Maine, if you please. The banker who bought them for me went to jail for murdering his wife a year after I bought them ... life is sometimes strange, boy, nein? ...A little General Motors, a little American Telephone and Telegraph, a hundred and fifty shares of Revion. All this banker's choices. Dufresne, his name was - I remember, because it sounds a little like mine. It seems he was not so smart at wife-killing as he was at picking growth stocks."
