There are 350,000 + kinds of bettles. The ones we have here are very gentle and non threatening. I like them a lot! But they are so dumb! They fly into spider webs and I rescue them. They make a chirping noise when they are in trouble. Hard to tell why since no other bettle is going to do anything for them. They will fly into the wall over and over. They do not seem to know where they are going or how to avoid danger. I am one of those people who will not kill a spider. I catch them and put them outside. It is too bad about the bettles though. I rescue them when I can but they are an accident waiting to happen. <_< |

HOLY CARP!!!

"Their's [the Beatles'] is a happy, cocky, belligerently resourceless brand of harmonic primitivism... In the Liverpudlian repertoire, the indulgent amateurishness of the musical material, though closely rivaled by the indifference of the performing style, is actually surpassed only by the ineptitude of the studio production method. (Strawberry Fields suggests a chance encounter at a mountain wedding between Claudio Monteverdi and a jug band.)" -- Glenn Gould |

Glenn Gould played one or two composers pretty well - not my cup of tea, but he had something to say. He should have shut up about the other composers. |

Random FML: Today, I was fired by my boss in front of my coworkers. It would have been nice if I could have left the building before they started celebrating. FML The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D | |
