HOLY CARP!!!
I always hurl with narco drugs. I have managed to get some really excellent anesthesiology help the last few times I've had surgery. The last time, I pretty much got in this guy's face and said, "DON'T YOU LET ME GET SICK!!!"

I am happy to say the results were very satisfactory. The way I dealt with post op pain after my c-sections was just to deal with it. Hurting was no worse for me than being sick. Amy had an aspiration, so I didn't see her until the next morning...when they gave her to me the first time, I had to hand her right back so I wouldn't puke on her. Nice Mom. The last time, with Merry, I just let the epidural wear off and did my best without further medication. I was just fine. MUCH better than I was the first two times with Demerol (no puking, just amnesia...I couldn't remember that I even HAD a baby, it was bizarre), and the second time Morphine (barf)

Yes they put the morphine in the spinal.

I blanked out when I tried the narcotics they were offering me afterwards, it's a very bizarre sensation. So then I just used tylenol.

I hurled over Dan in the ICU also. Welll not over him, thankfully. Beside him. He doesn't remember!!!!!
Pfft.

So what do I do about it? Go to an allergist?

Absolutely.

Mrs. George developed a septal perf about 12 years ago. This is something you definitely don't want to have.

I think I'll take your advice George and see if I can get my mom to schedule me in with an allergist. I would have been already but I've been dealing with all sorts of other medical things from asthma to getting my liver enzymes down so I can start on isotretinoin. Yay insurance.
